Financial Advisors for Now and the Future.
About Jake
Growing up in the Raleigh, North Carolina area I was blessed with an amazing family and friends. I played many sports as a child, but the older I became I grasped on to golf as my favorite and most enjoyable. Some of my greatest memories as a teenager was traveling with my father to golf tournaments all throughout the country to accomplish my goal of playing collegiately. In 2012, that dream became a reality when I came to King University in Bristol, TN on an athletic and academic scholarship. Other than being involved in NCAA DII athletics, I was a member of the college’s honor council, the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and was a four-time academic all-conference member. In 2015, I interned with the American Junior Golf Association and traveled across the entire United States running the most competitive junior golf events in the country; this internship was one of the best experiences of my life. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science I stayed in Bristol, TN to further my education. In the spring of 2017, I graduated from King University with a Master of Business Administration and a specialization in Project Management.
I do not play as much golf as before, but I am grateful for the many life lessons the game has taught me as I apply that knowledge in work and at home every day. In May of 2017, I began my career in the financial services industry and since then I have grown my knowledge and skillset substantially. I served our clients and organization in two roles since 2017 as a Client Relationship Manager and the Director of Operations.
In the spring of 2021, I passed my Series 65 Exam and became a Wealth Advisor at Carson. My passion is to help the organization grow and to make the complex simple for our clients and their families, so they can enjoy life now.
I am blessed to be married to my wife Abby, and we have one four-legged child named Ellie. We both enjoy traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family. My favorite time of the year is fall and football season, so I can watch Carolina Panthers games every Sunday.
